By car

To rent a car in Spain is much cheaper than in England. Booked at the same time as booking a flight is just as economical as hiring at the airport. Hiring a car for two weeks costs the same as a return taxi fare from Malaga to Alpujarra.

Allthough you do not need a car for hiking, we advise you to hire one for it is much easier to explore the area.
